These troopers move swiftly and have their nervous system augmented with technology based off of the Temporal Accelerator. This combined with other cybernetics allows the trooper to move lighting fast, and analyze the battlefield and make decisions even faster. The neurological deterioration that results with the constant use of the accelerator is far less than with the prototype, though it's side effect of a shortened lifespan remains. This is the main reason the troopers are made from full-blooded elves since they have such long life spans.They are equipped with a viroblade in their right arm that super heats and can cut through most materials. The blade can be launched as a range weapon, with backup blades in it's arm replacing the fired blade. They also have a specially designed buckler on their left arm which can be used to deflect certain energy-based attacks back at their attackers. They also have a reserve of nano-machines that are used to repair the trooper in the battlefield.

Identical to it's cousin the Gelatinous Cube in almost every way, the carnivorous cube is only distinguishable from a distance by the lack of materials floating in it's mass. Carnivorous cube's ooze is non-acidic and non-paralytic, unlike the gelatinous cube, instead it has changed from eating away at flesh to eating away at DNA. Creatures caught in it's mass find escape easy enough, however they rarely escape alone - one creature comes in, two go out. The cube is a factory for the mimicker ooze and uses the basic DNA of it's victims to create copies of it's victims who fight their prey for them. Dangerous creatures to come across, they are often encountered with an mimicker ooze or two left over from their previous victims.

SPECIAL ABILITIES

Viroblades (Ex)

A Phase 1 Dark Trooper's weapon is made of hot siccatite. The integrated housing for these blades allow the dark trooper to wield it without taking the 1 point of fire damage each round.

Projectile Launcher (Ex)

A Phase 1 Dark Trooper treats it's integrated weapon as if it had the thrown property and can fire it out of it's integrated housing. When created, a dark trooper's projectile launcher contains 12 blades.

Rapid Repair (Su)

A Phase 1 Dark Trooper can repair damage dealt to itself swiftly. Once per day, as a full-round action that provokes attacks of opportunity, a dark trooper can heal 40 hp and refill its projectile launcher with four blades.
